Lists

What do we usually see in lists? Names, numbers, results, etc. It could be anything. I’ve had a lot of dilemma in dealing with lists. They’re a ponderous work, especially for making invitations.

I always thought that a list always made people anxious and pressured to attend the event. This falls on the personal pride of some people. Sometimes when people are not included within the list, they think they’re not invited. And these people tend to end up being a “diva”, making themselves feel special by telling people that they’re not attending the party and so on — this makes the whole list crumble. I know they’re just the jerk offs and c(j)ockheads who think they’re cool because people know them. They’re just making a mess of the whole “social” point of the event.

I’m not a very sociable person (I see a “forever alone” meme coming), that’s why I don’t organize parties or any event involving a lot of people. Even going to the mall is a challenge for me, what more a social event that I’m hosting? With that *ehem* “anxiety” of mine in mind, I’ve thought of not to have a list of guests or people I expect to come to my party, or for any event that I’ll be organizing.

Kalayaan.

What I don’t like about life is the competition. Maybe I’m not really good at anything for me to compete for anything. I’m just your ordinary dude who know things that won’t fascinate a lot of people, someone who does everything necessary just to live. I’m not the kind of guy who’d take on anyone, anytime at any given place, even if there’s a fair reason behind it. I find competitions or being competitive as a nuisance in living the life, I mean, The Life. The splendor of being at peace with yourself and the people around you, wherein the need to bash a boar in the head and cook it arises from the necessity of eating not of being able to boast of it’s hide and make it as a carpet or a hunting trophy. Competitiveness takes away all the small things, that as we believe, matter. Do we really need to live in other people’s failure and feed our egos with something superficial and unnecessary? I say fuck the system, find that reboot button!

You’d think I hate life because of competition, or I hate egotistical bastards, or competition itself, well no. I hate the man who lives and yet hates his life.
